Working on an inspired
team is always more gratifying than
working alone. It begins when the project is
defined. Hyatt needed to unify a great range of
interests, locations, and promotions. At first,
Cristina described what she wanted to achieve
versus determined how to achieve it. She challenged
the design team to create an iconography of lasting
impact. There cannot be good design without
a good client—becoming stronger when
the concerns of both views blend.
